BOURBON – A pair of singles win lifted the Triton girls tennis team to a 3-2 win over Bethany Christian Monday.
Kaelyn Mason won in straight sets at No. 1 singles for the Trojans and Shayla May won in three sets at No. 3 singles, including 7-5 in the final set, for Triton.
Holly Stogsdill and Carrie Slabaugh won at No. 1 doubles in straight sets for the Trojans.
Bethany Christian won at No. 2 singles as Ming Woo rallied to defeat Cassie Irons 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. The Bruins also took the No. 2 doubles match as the team of Darienne Mast and Mags Dutchersmith topped Michal Scherer-Berry and Tyra Fakes 6-0 6-1.
Triton improves to 3-3 on the season with the victory.
